Privacy policy

GroundPlot is built so that we cannot see your data. This page is short because there is very little to disclose.

What we collect

Nothing. GroundPlot has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no server that receives your content. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any personal information or project data.

Where your data lives

Your photos, projects, annotations, and license key are processed and stored entirely on your own device (in your browser's local storage). Exported files — PDFs, project files, spreadsheets — go wherever you choose to save or send them. If you delete the app or clear your browser data, that data is gone; we hold no copy.

Network requests the app makes

• Map tiles are fetched from Esri and OpenStreetMap when you view the map. Those providers see standard tile requests (approximate areas being viewed), as any map app's provider does. GroundPlot sends no referrer information with requests.
• Fonts and open-source libraries are loaded from public content-delivery networks (Google Fonts, cdnjs).
• No other network traffic occurs. Your photos are never uploaded anywhere.

Purchases

Pro licenses are sold through a third-party payment processor; they handle your payment details under their own privacy policy. We receive only what is needed to deliver your license key.

Your reports are your responsibility

GroundPlot assists with documentation. GPS positions, compass bearings, and measurements are produced by your device's sensors and should be verified where accuracy matters. GroundPlot does not certify the accuracy of generated figures or data.
